Effective October 21, 2026.
Purpose and data use
The private integration uses Google-authorized home and thermostat information to display device status and operate personal home automations. Depending on the permissions granted, this includes home and room names, postal code, device identifiers, temperature and humidity readings, operating modes, setpoints, and device events. Authorization credentials are used to maintain the connection.
Storage and sharing
Integration data is processed by the operator’s private Home Assistant installation and the services needed for the authorized integration. Device readings and configuration may be retained in local history and backups. Selected device information is also made available to the operator’s Apple Home setup. It is not published on this website, sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models.
Control and deletion
The account holder can revoke the connection through their Google account or remove the integration from Home Assistant. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not automatically erase existing local history or backups. Those records can be removed by the operator; backup copies remain until deleted or expired under the backup retention settings.
